Apple Duck's Detectives By April Dukes
Apple Duck’s Detectives uses a Choose Your Own Adventure style of narration, a method of storytelling that allows the audience to participate in the outcome through a non-linear format, one of several techniques that can be employed to increase or reinforce joint child and adult reader engagement habits.
Synopsis
Tango and Olive take the reader(s) on an adventure of their own creation where they meet Sphinxy, Babba, Chicken Little and other fun characters whose problems are not necessarily solved in a traditional straight forward matter. Children will choose which character to help first then ride, fly and zip-zap their way to help with an unexpectedly fun finale.
Is This Book Published?
This book is NOT published and is looking for the perfect publisher home to make it just right. Many of the pages are illustrated but the narration and the images are suggestions. I am 100% committed to bring it to full potential with whatever revisions will make it a success.
Is April The author and illustrator?
Yes. I am the author and illustrator. I recently graduated with my MFA in illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. My education is art, but I love to write children's stories!
Is This IT for the Apple Duck's?
This adventure has many places to go from here with great potential to become a series.
